Ok I have seen YouTube and here people say oh yea there is a guy on here with 100k on his bike but that's all they know. I want to hear YOUR personal high mileage f4s. And any major engine work you needed done. Don't count oil changes, cct, ect. Just the out of the normal and or expensive repairs.

Could you please post a link to it? I searched his name and there is tons of posts and threads by him. I couldn't find any about his mileage and up keep. Also side question can I message people on here like other forums or is that after I am off newbie status?

That's incredible... although if looked after etc etc. be interested to know if this guy has done ANY internals to the engine. I mean, we could all say 200,000, just a new faring, new zorst, springs, shocks, cylinders full engine rebuild blah blah. Im thinking this guy has done all the normal stuff without any engine rebuild...?!

 

Yes, he's done engine work. Read his threads/posts... Well worth the time.

 

I know its not a LOT of miles, but i have just over 40k miles. From what I was told by the P.O. its all stock. Regular oil changes, and a manual CCT. I can't confirm that nothing else was done to it, but I can't think of a reason why somebody would do engine work and then not claim it when selling it.

 

I have 45k on mine and this is my 3rd season with it and bought it at 16k, I will assume I will be over 60k no problems by the end of the season.
