For those of you wondering if its possible, i did the f4i gauge swap on my f4, the wiring is pretty much straight forward with most of the colors matching up. The only problems are that the bikes uses different water coolant temp sensors, so the temp does not register correctly on the gauges. I've read that you can retap the sensor hole and put the f4i sensor and it will work. Also the fuel reserve sensor is different so that doesnt function either. The tach and speedo seem work without problems. Seeing the tach sweep and the speedo countdown upon turning the key for the first time was worth the install.

Hey guys, can I add a sugestion. Rather than the digital swap, what about a twist on the analog? I thought about the F4i conversion, and after pricing it out and trying to make it look factory on my F4, I decided to go with the Ilumiglo guage faces. I love em, they add a twist, have a look, let me know what you think.
