F4 dying when I give it throttle!
I have a 2000 cbr600f4 and was wondering if clean929's issue was ever cured! I just ran through the carbs...Seems like its getting too much air...I DO have the ram air tubes off of the bike, am running a K&N filter AND it has a Muzzy exhaust...I just got it like this a week ago and have it fitted with a cbr1000rr kit..Definately looks nasty but runs like crap! i have to eeease on the throttle or else it will die!..I figure either the bike needs to be jetted or omitting the ram air tubes and covers allows for too much air at lower rpms? i'll try taping off the the airbox holes and report back..

hey are your carbs modded ? I had this issue when I first got my bike. The air/ fuel screws was turned out way to much. It should be turned out from 1 1/2 to 2 turns per carb. one of my carbs was turned out 4 times so it was getting flooded when the throttle was cranked. also running the bike with out the ram air tubes is fine. I would suggest putting a mesh screen in place of the ram air tubes so it helps with less crap getting into the air box
also if you could humor me can you take more pictures of the bike... that 1k look is nice what did you have to do to make it fit/ work?
