Default Its always Something UGH!

So basically my rear tire on my pilot power 2ct tires is down to the ribbing after 13 months of riding. Currently im broke but i have seen used tires on ebay for 60 or 70 bucks. Im going to have the money in 2 weeks to order a full set of Michelin Power Pure tires but I want to ride on something until then. Would it be safe for me to ride on the current tire until I order some new ones or should i just order a used rear tire to hold me over until i buy some more. I want to park my bike and wait but gas is too dang high and there is a midwest ride coming up at the end of the month that i been waiting all spring for. And Advice? Thanks in advance

Call you local shop(s) & ask if you can buy a "take-off".

So i contacted my cousin and he hooked me up with a mechanic that got be a battlax rear tire for 30 bucks and he installed and balanced it for another 20. Also the tire had like 70-80% tread left. I got lucky lol. This should hold me over until my new power pures come in.

good for you....i have used take-offs. i'm cheap. yes we all know tires should be something not to be cheap about. 1 bought a 40 dollar rear take off; installed. eh, i will probably shell out a few bill on a brand new set next time around.
