I have a CBR F4 that I have put countless hours into.. Well I thought I was having issues with the carbs and started messing with the three adjusting screws on the top.. (BAD MOVE).. Well after messing with the screws I found my real problem was that my fuel pump went out so I replaced the pump but am having issues on adjusting those dag-on screws. Well I been reading comment and other threads on carb and syncing. (oh yeah I build my own sync device).

Im not sure where to start the scress off when trying to sync the carbs.. Do I start them all the way tight and move them out or do I start them a few turns out and move them in. Can someone please give me some advice.

 

If the bike starts, then you go from there. IF it doesn;t, then you need to take them of and do a manual/visual sync so that you can get the bike started and then continue with the fine tuning..

 

Thaks for the post.. Well its time for a new issue that I am trying to figure. I think I'm not getting a spark. The reason I say this is because I pulled the spark plug coil, but did not see any spark. Im not sure it there should be a spark there so I attached a spark plug and still didnt see a spark. I think the CDI went bad. I made sure it was attached to the harness... any ideas anyone

 

when you checked for spark, did you put the plug against a bare metal on the bike to ground it?
