engine starts bogging down at low throttle with HOT engine?
. . .Yes. Yes, it is.
Only adjust the pilot screw once you have completely eliminated all other possible causes of the problem. This situation can have a TON of causes, so you've got a long way to go before you start swearing at a pilot screw.
every adjustment on the carbs is for fuel. well I should say jetting wise. throttle plates are in the carbs and those control air
Well, I pulled my carbs out yesterday, prior to reading johnnyx's post and cursed at the screws for awhile, then set them to factory settings which is 2.5 turns and it runs amazingly. No complaints! Thanks.
This is a very common problem and Im surprised that after 3 pages no one has sugggested that, when the bike is hot, the fan is drawing alot of the bikes electrical power and thus having a weak spark until the bike starts charging at about 4k RPM.

That's an R/R problem. The R/R exists precisely to prevent that situation. If it's occurring, the R/R needs to be replaced.
OH, well ****. Did you remember to balance them? I will bet you a dollar and some ice cream that that's it if you didn't.
Edit: HEY, waitaminute. I remember this thread. WTF is going on here? This is starting to look like one of MY threads.
