Default Engine Squeak.. Any thoughts?

Hi me yet again.
I have just been on night ride for about 40 miles at a constant speed (70mphish) and when I pulled over I have an engine squeak. The engine pulses slightly anyway when on tickover. When I had the CCT changed I asked the mechanic about it and he says its because the bike has a piperx filter and Fuel end can, but since its only flicking the needle a couple of 100rpm its nothing to worry about. I hope thats true, but the bike rides fine so I havnt worried about it.
This squeak fluctuates up and down at the same time as the rev counter needle flicks up and down. Its not overly loud but you can hear it when waiting at the lights. It seems to be louder on the clutch pedal side of the engine but it is hard to tell. I hope this makes sense and I was wondering if anyone has any experience of this or any thoughts as to what it can be?

I take it that this is a new sound? F4's on Carbs do have a funny sound tbh... well they do to me anyway. I've got a K&N oiled filter in mine and a Devil exhuast... can you video the footage with it idling and saying reving at 2000rpm then idle again so we can hear it? Hard to work out from words...

Thanks for the reply Pugheaven. Sorry it has taken me a while to reply Ive moved house so not been able to get online.
The good news is I have found out what the bloody squeak is. I noticed when I started it up that it was coming from the radiator. I checked if all the bolts were tight and there were a couple slightly loose. Once I tightened them up, squeak was gone.
The lesson I have learned.... Look for the obvious before thinking the worst ha ha
