so i have a 99 honda cbr f4 it is carburated i have re-jetted the carbs. it has a k&n air filter.
it had 36000 miles on it and i keep it up with oil changes and maintenance

The issue is while the bike is on it just randonly shuts off.when i say shuts off it goes dead and seems to have no power. the lights will die and the guages will as well. It does it when its in neutral. It also does it when riding, it will turn off then right back on since im riding. the way i know it turns off when riding cause sometimes you hear a backfire and other times i can see the gauges do dead and see the needle fall then come back on(takes about a second)
it happened 2 times last week and then today on a 60 mile ride it happened over and over. i plan on taking it into the shop on tuesday when they open.
im not sure where to start since its not a gas issue, the battery is new from last year.
im just worried it will die on me and wont start and be stuck someplace..
