Dyno Results

Last Wednesday at a local bike night, they had a mobile dyno for $25 for one pull.
I was curious what the old girl would pull with her 23,000 miles and the mods done to her.
Mods:
Jetted? (Guy running dyno was 99% sure it was)
Two Brothers Exhaust
K&N Air Filter
New Iridium Plugs
-1 Front / +3 Back
I wish I would have cleaned/sync'd my carbs over the winter, but gives me something to do this winter.
4th gear pull results:
98.4 hp @ 13,232
41.7 ft*lb@ 11,281
Attached is a copy of the print out.

I would say it probably is jetted, I've heard that the K&N combo'd with a non-OEM pipe and with stock jets isn't real great. Would be something to test though I guess. Ifyou ever find out, post it up, I've wanted to do a K&Nand jets too, all that I have on my F4 is an M4 slip-on.

I got my 2000 CBR F4 dyno'd yesterday, staintune Slipon and K&N filter. 101hp. the Air to Fuel ratio clearly shows you that the without jetting the K&N filter is not good. The mechanic dude said that if I put the stock paper filter back on it will get 3-4hp more, Or get it jetted. think I will take the cheaper option.

the bottom line is not torque, its Air to Fuel Ratio (AFR). As close to 13ish as possible is good, as you can see from 90-106km/h there is too much fuel and not enough air, so needs to be jetted with smaller jets or most likely the air filter needs replacing as its running too rich.

Thats some interesting data. The only dyno runs I've seen are behind the pub when town has there local bike rally weekend haha! Nothing funnier than a bunch of drunk dumbfu**s arguing about who's bike has more power! I would assume that the air to fuel ratio is determined by an exhasut gas analyser detecting hydrocarbons in the exhaust? I would say the rich run situation should try to be remedied by increasing intake airflow rather than leaning the jets no?
