Clutch plates issues
So we are back with issues.
i was replacing the friction plates and clutch springs on the f4. But after closing it up I found out that the new stack removed all free play and I basically have negative free play and the clutch is always slightly slipping. Is this a common problem when people use the EBC ck1193 clutch plates which ebc themsekves show to be a correct fit for the f4. Also the f4 shows that the insde and outside friction plates are a slightly different size yet the ebc set gives you identical plates. But all forums as far as I have read say that this is normal and not something to worry about as we don't have a judder spring.
anyway does anybody know if this is a common problem. And have a fix for it or is this a self adjusting problem with miles put on the new plates(I would assume not but still worth asking)
