clunk noise when accelerating
So I thought my chain might have been loose and been hitting a little bit while i was accelerating, but after i tightened my chain i still noticed the same noise. It seems to be coming from my left foot peg area, and it happens when I accelerate through 1st gear to 4th. The clunking noise will happen about 3 or 4 times and then stop, then it will do it again when I shift up. I will hear it every once and a while in 5th and 6th gear but not much. Help please, I want to get out and ride.
I noticed the same when i do really aggressive breaking with my bike.
I adjusted my chain to spec. I think it use to do it before but i had the plastic oem chainguard which make it not as noticable as it now is. Just have to lighten up on the brakes i guess.

I think ive got the same problem....its loud and other people can hear it driving behind me....it also makes the noise when the clutch is in an im deaccellerating...mine just started 5 days ago. I also just tightened the chain recently. I dont like the sound of it being a clutch issue
. my bike has 19k on it.
