Default a clunk???

whats up everyone? i just bought a 2000 F4 and am loving it however today on my way home from running some errands i started to hear a "Clunk" while turning from a stop. I mean it is possible that it was my pants/shoe catching the peg on the way up and it popping down but i do not know for sure so i was wondering if any of you have heard of or had a similar issue and could possibly point me in the right direction

thanks

G

Take is out and see if it does it again. it could have been your peg like you said.

bumble bee, i will be taking him out again tomorrow since i'm already running late for work and it's gonna be ***** cold when i get out of work at 11.

I really really hope it's just the peg or a suspension setting (the person i bought the bike from was a very small light woman so the suspension is still set for her as i have not been able to get it to the shop yet but will be trying to set up an appointment with in the next week or so)

thanks for the quick response

I hear stuff from time to time when I have my bike out, but nothing major. Just listen and keep an eye open for anything ou of the norm.

will do, thanks for the responses. I do have a question about the suspension set up though, I weight about 210-215 and the person that i bought it from had it set up for his wife and she was all of about 115 - 120 tops (with gear). would this be an easy enough adjustment for me to tackle or would it be best if I took it to my local honda dealer and had them set it up for me atleast this first time? also if it is simple enough that i can do it and not screw it up to badley would the front forks need adjusting as well?

thanks

G
