Default can i ride without a......(opinions please)...

upon putting my bike back together after it was knocked over on a public street... the original owner my buddy came over last night to look at the damage.

looking at the fender;

he suggested I simply take it off, so I can start riding it again, until I find a decent used one, or save up the money for a complete fairing kit...

This being my first street bike, as I commute to Oceanside to Glendale to Canoga Park, I ask this; would no front fender be a safe decision to make ? Keep in mind my 02 CBR F4i to is mainly my "traffic beater" no stunts; sometimes high rates of speed (not for long periods of time though) (also not topping 120mph)...

Thanks in advance all.
Roy

I wouldn't worry about riding it for a while without a front fender. I wouldn't think the front tire slings to much stuff around. That sucks man!

I've been riding without my front fender since march. I get an occasional pebble that flys at my visor, but thats about it. Not really that hazardous unless your riding without a helmet. (Legal in AZ) And even then it won't kill you unless you spaz out and cause a ruckus all over the highway.
