hello everyone.......
it seems i have a small dilemma....
IT REALLY MIGHT TURN OUT TO BE A LARGER PROBLEM BASED ON MY ANSWERS BACK.
i'm puting oil in my bike right.
changing the filter as well.
for some reason the oil is not reading in my mirror.(glass in which oil is visible through fairings )
maybe it was too full, right..... and i couldn't see the level because it surpassed the fullness.
i just dumped it out..... and it looks the same as when i had 3 (three) quarts in it.
what's going on???
1)not enough oil ???
2)just perfect, and just deal with the way the oil - screen looks.(glass)???
3)it's busted and leaking inside of the bike itself ??? [:@][
][>:]
4)too much oil ???
5)glass is not registering ???
thanks for your time of day everyone!!!

Whats up man.
First question is do you have your bike on a stand or are using the kick stand?
In order to check the oil level, you have to stand the bike up right.
Its easier to do if you have someone hold the bike for you, while you check the site gauge.
The oil wouldn't be leaking into your engine, it would be going to your oil pan which is normal due to gravity, lowest point.
So if you have no visible oil leaks showing up, then you should be good.

when i filled my bike up with 3.5 liters of oil. the oil sight glass did not register a drop going in.
so basically the sight glass looks empty still. i don't want to put more oil in.........

Ya i was gonna say you need to first make sure that the motors warm when you do an oil change. Then when your filling after you have almost all the way start it for a few seconds to get things circulated. Then let it sit for a few minutes and check the level. Just a guess but im guessin that the oil is only visable in the sight glass after you get the oil circulating. sound right???
