How hard is it to mount a frame cage on a 2000 F4? Anyone know? Do they bolt right on, or do you need to do any welding or anything like that?

It should bolt right up but you will have to cut the plastics in the same spots as the Frame sliders. There shouldnt be ANY welding involved

No welding it bolts up. You have to cut frame slider holes where the front motor mounts are and a small hole at the bottom of the fairing. where the two sides of the cage connect at the bottom.

Is it new or used? If used you might have to play with it a little they get tweaked pretty easy. What brand did you go w/?

ya. he has done a lot of refining on them. he doesnt cross under the bike like 905 and FI does. he mounts them to 3 mounting points on each side of the frame. but the secret in not letting them bend are those sliders. they are placed about 2 inches inside of the cage so there is not chance of breaking those off.
