breather tube coming off the front of the air box is just hanging there and has a clip on it so im sure it belongs somewhere but where, from prior experience I would think its a crank breather but dont see a spot on the engine for it. anyone know where it goes?

Okay so it goes to an "evap purge valve" that I must no longer have. Is this a mod?

 

No , its just that that picture shows the crankcase breather hose, it still runs from the crank case to the airbox, ignore the Evap stuff

A. I had to log out to see the picture... Permissions on this site are wack.

B. My hose that's coming off the front of the author is long enough and reaches all the way to the monoshock. In you picture it shows the hose maybe being a few inches. Mine is maybe 18 inches.

Wrong hose hookes up?

 

Scratch that... I'm getting lines crossed under the intake... The hose that has no end goes up front to some kind of a object right by the spark plugs hanging there with othere lines coming off of it.

 

Could be then its had a mod, on the DAI ,check that out to see if the air solenoid has been removed
