I recently took my wheels off to get new tyres done.had that done and put the front wheel back on and then after I put bike back together noticed I had no front brake lever just went straight to handlebar after rebuild of calipers and new fluid and master cylinder rebuild I had not even before all this that a single piston on the left side wasn't coming out at the same rate as the others it would pressurise and then after leaving it a few minutes go back to nothing there and it seems its almost retracing on its own could anyone give me an insight on what to look at next?
Welcome to the forum Cbralf, lets have some more info about yourself and your bike, we also love pics.
From what you are describing, either you have an air leak somewhere or have not bled the brakes properly. When I changed the hoses on mine it took me ages to get the brakes bled.
Initially try tying the brake lever back against the bar, this should allow any air bubbles to work there way up to and out of the MC, then have another go at bleeding them.
Cheers

Hi bud went through around 4/5 reservoirs bleeding it just seems that this problem only occurred after taking the wheel off and no other hoses.
Would the wheel not being put on straight and not aligned properly cause this?
I Will definitely give it a go tomorrow with keeping the lever pulled in and see if any bubbles make up its way up into the master cylinder when I'm back with the bike in the morning. And will take pics and upload more info about myself at some point.
Dont really think so, it might cause the pistons to be in different positions, but as long as there was sufficient fluid in the MC then it should have countered that, it would seem that it is air related as you do not have have pressure in the system.
Quick update after bleeding the brakes for days new piston seals MC rebuild finally found an end to the job turned out where I had my tyres done they had bent/warped my disk's got a feeler gauge and one side was 0.05 and the left side was at 0.105 which was causing the one piston to retract on itself all the way in process of elimination and persistence paid off thanks for your advice and taught me alot in the process.
