Default Bike wont start but boes backfire

I just bought a 2000 cbr F4, 18 500 km, slight drop on right side.
New:battery, chain, sprockets, tuned at the end of last summer.

When I first got it it turned on and revved at 1k and would die after a minute, so I turned the **** on the right side of the lower fairing to bring it up to 2k. I was playing around with that **** some more and now the bike will not start up at all and if it starts to turn over it will just back fire.
Any suggestions or ideas? The **** is not in the right position at all anymore is there a way to figure out when to stop spinning it?

I guess I would just spin it all the way back and start from there. You have to get it running and warm to adjust the idle. 1300 rpm +- 100 rpm.

That's the idle control **** you are playing with. Just wind it all the way in and get the bike going.

the bike should idle a 1300rpm. like everyone else said that is the idle **** turn it back down quit a bit.
if the bike has 2 much fuel to start with it wont start.
