Default Bike won’t start

Hey I bought a 99 cbr600 f4 from a buddy for cheap. Replaced spark plugs, ignition coils, installed diode in line with the pink wire from wiring harness plug by the switch to the cdi box. Still nothing and my other buddy mentioned something about a tip over sensor, but upon a little research, through the forum group, my bike doesn’t have one. So we’re stumped upon why it’s not starting. We’re getting voltage through the coil wiring harness. So anyone have any idea what we could have missed or didn’t think about?

Please describe the symptoms.
Is it turning over?
Do you get a spark etc.
A little more information will help a lot.

The 1999 F4 was still carbureted, so no BAS or tip over sensor. Additional symptoms will certainly help as @Al1040 indicated.

turning over unsure of spark due to lack of knowledge on motorcycle engines. It’s acting like she wants to start but can’t get the initial spark to get the engine going. Also we’re getting fuel so it has to be spark. Any ideas on where would be a good way of testing for spark?

Thank you

Start by taking one of the spark plug leads off, get a spare spark plug and plug into the lead.
Then lay spark plug against the engine case.
Try to start the bike and you should see a spark against the engine case.
One other question, how do you know you are getting fuel to the plugs?
