While my bike was parked when I was at work someone must have lightly hit my bike. I didnt notice until I was riding home as my mirror was cranked over. When I stopped I saw that my signal light was busted - the orange cover was bent open and cracked and the rubber seal inside was gone, the black signal light box (which is a stock I just shortened it) is a bit scratched. As far as I can tell there is no other damage, the mirror did not even crack. Seems like someone just barely caught the edge of the signal when backing out. I guess I am lucky but I feel a bit violated, especially since there was no note. Not cool when someone messes with your bike.

Does anyone who as the stock signals laying around want to send me their orange cover and rubber seal? I have no idea what shipping would be but I am in Saskatoon Canada. I will pay shipping for sure.

 

I think you can get aftermarket set on ebay for $20 shipped, I just used my factory gsxr1000 blinkers when I rebuilt my f4

 

ya....I really dont want to take my fairings and crap all off again tho, I just want to replace the orange plastic peice and call er good. Its summer, I just want to ride. Plus when I get aftermarkets for the front I am going to want them for the back.

 

not much of a help with the part.. but Im fairly certain that the front and rear signal lenses are the same... the rest of it isnt... but the lense should be.

I assumed that the signals were the same actually, interesting.

 

I managed to source a replacement orange lens, I dont have the rubber ring seal that goes inside tho. It probably does not matter, I doubt it will leak it seems pretty tight.
