theorhetical question about bike being damaged by others
Ok, this didnt happen, its just a what if? question for you.
Say you caught someone vandalizing your bike, or kicking it over, and causing damage to it, and that person happened to be a minor. how would you handle the situation?
Police action?
Pay a visit to the parents and ask them to pay?
Arrange a deal with the parents where the minor must pay out of his/her own pocket for the repair/replacement of what they broke.
Or would the cops be called after someones parents file a missing persons report and you get hauled away in cuffs.
Personally, I like the idea of holding any minor accountable for their actions, and making them pay for what they broke. If the parents dont give a crap, then I'd file charges with legal action. To me, this would be a situation where insurance wouldnt make me happy.
The way I see things, by not calling the police and working things out with parents so that the minor can stay out of jail, the parent(s) can hopefully deliver a more suitable punishment, without putting it on a criminal record. now, if the person is a legal adult, I'd be planting my boot in their ****, followed quite promptly by something of a scene from american history x with someone kissing the curb.

Yep these kids (14-17) these days have no respect and no fear of repercussion. You can tell mom and dad, they wont care. Maybe tell a cop, again dont care much, they are minors after all. Kick their teeth down their throat, that gets their attention.

I'd pull my belt off and woop his *** cause his parents arnt.
It shouldnt be age. It should be size. I'm in my 20's and I'm not big. So there are plenty of teenagers bigger than me. So an *** woopin should be legal on a minor if they are same size or bigger.
If they're old enough to vandalize, then they're old enough for an *** woopin. If they're old enough to kill, they're old enough to be killed.
