The new jets showed up and... it didn't work, still idles the same but has a little more power. i have noticed that it sounds like there's a load on the motor when it misfires so I tried unplugging the stator but it didn't change much though it is making good power (14-15V at idle).
maybe it does have low compression and I somehow messed up the compression test. I have replaced all the O-rings on the carbs and cleaned them while they were apart but what I found strange was that the pilot jets were black and had a small amount of carbon on them, I have no idea if this is normal but I'm guessing its a no and if so does that mean I have a valve problem? maybe I should have checked the valve clearance. the gauges are still jumpy so no idea what's going on there. anyway I am out of ideas for now, if yawl have any guesses let me know and ill try fixing it.
