another charging problem

^^^ This goes back to my first post & what I suspect. However, OP needed to do proper troubleshooting to verify.

IF this proves to be the OP's problem, I recommend replacing w/ the new superseded version R/R from Honda. Its a nice part & a direct plug-in replacement. it comes w/a factory Honda warranty.

For REFERENCE:
  • Old original model part no. SH633-12
  • New model part no. 31600-MV4-010
How's it going OP?

If the battery is being charged at 13+ volts, why are you replacing the R/R??

post up if it works... i've been wrong many times before.
