Adjusting Suspension
Hi everyone. I just bought a 99 CBF4 and was wondering what the manufacturer's suggested supension settings were. Any tips, she feels a little sloppy and find myself overcorrecting cause it feels like it's gonna fall in the corners.
Thanks
Thanks
Hey - it should be in your manual.... but here's what I remember.
Front - 4 lines showing on preload, back - setting 3 or 4.
You can adjust all of your rebound / dampening by turning them all the way until they gently seat in both directions and then adjust for half-way.
You should also check your tire pressure -- that makes a world of difference.... 36/42.
If you're new to riding, take it slow in the corners until you know how your new bike will react =).
