Default 99 CBR600F4 Battery drains too quickly...

New battery, new stator and battery dies after a few days of non-use. I have a new regulator/rectifier on order, we'll see if that helps.

Or maybe this is a drain somewhere, a bad ground? Frustrating...

Thanks for any help.

Ride the bike. When you get home check the charge of the battery. If it is low then it might not be charging properly. Makes ure all of the connections are good.

Leave it sit, and go out to it next time. If the battery is lower than it was when you stopped you have a leak. Then you just have to play hunt the leak. Start with any aftermarket wiring. After that... well it could be anything. I guess you'll just have to over the bike looking for things. :-/ not much fun. Look for worn wires between the battery, fuses and keyswitch... not much fun.

Ok, thanks a lot. I'm also looking at replacing the rectifier. Fun! Looks like someone else posted another note today about this. Common problem. Thanks.
