I don't believe 520 can handle more horsepower as a 525 if that's what you're trying to say. 525 is stronger and more durable than 520, as you'll probably go through 520 chains faster than a 525. The benefits of a 520 chain would be easier to decipher if you were at a trackday. 520 chains are however, cheaper than 525.

Love your signature, that is sick, true, probably can't handle much more or less, longevity may just be better. I wish I had a track within a 12 hour drive.

Haha me too man lol. Either that or I wish I had a F350 with like a 20 foot enclosed trailers and had like 10 friends that wanted to go haha that would be sick lol.

I just changed my sprockets to -1,+4 and a 520 conversion. As far as I know 520 vs. 525 or 530 or anything, is the width of the chain/ pitch of the sprocket teeth. The quality of the chain plays a big role too. A stock chain has less tensile strength than a race chain. So, a stock 525 is not as strong as a race 520 chain. (I used to be into mountain bikes)
Anyway, I went with a RK 520 GOLD OSO. It was like $100, but its supposed to be stronger than sh*t. Oh yeah, and the speedo is way off, but whatever...
