Hi all!! I have just chopped in a GSXR6 for a 2002 cbr600f, as I travel to scotland twice amonth, and cover around 600 miles each time. However at around 5000rpm, i get a vibration through the bars and a noise which is hard to describe! This happens in any gear? any ideas??? HELP! The last cbr I rode was in 1995! is this usual?

 

a little vibration around 5000rpm is usual. and a little sound aswell. alot no. does the sound get louder when you rev or disappear whe you rev higher. if the sound get worst then you have a internal problem check the cct. (cam chain tensionr). also just go throught the bike and tighten every thing a bolt may be losse causing the noise and vibe problem.
