There's absolutely no reason to go -2 in the rear from stock...there's simply no practical effect.
You should definitely count those teeth & see what it is for sure.
As mentioned previously, 1999-2000 F4 oem is 16/45...which is sufficient for everyday use.
The popular mod is -1/+2, which would mean 15/47. I wouldn't go any more than that.
The 2001-2006 F4i oem setup is 16/46. That is also a good option for the F4.
