1999 CBR600F4 - no spark at any of the 4 plugs
FINALLY !!!!!!!!!!!!!! It's ALIVE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
anyone who ever has a no spark issue on a Honda motorcycle, please read !!!!!!!
There is a diode in the switch base of the ignition switch. IF that diode pops for any reason you will have a no spark/no fuel pump issue. The value of the diode is 3.9v 0.5watt part number NTE5007A. My 99 will be back on the road soon !!!!!!!! yay ... btw, it's a friggin .39 cent part ...

I am trying to install a toggle switch on my CBR 600 03
thanks in advance!
I had this same problem, before i found this forum i checked the spark plugs and they were old and dirty so i replaced them with the same brand and everything. Then i found this forum ordered 2 zener diodes first one lasted a month, hit a bump at about 25mph bike shut off. got it back to my house and replaced the diode again. this diode was good for about another month then died. Figured i should just buy a new lower ignition for 50 bucks to make sure the this aftermarket diode wasnt the problem. got the new lower ignition rode for about 30 mins last night then went to ride again this morning and got about a mile down the road hit another bump and lost spark again... any ideas? or did you guys have anything like this happend?
Thanks TS, I am having the same issues with my 900RR Fireblade from '99.
I cant get any correct voltage to the ICM too only yesterday I connected a Variable power supply and got a spark for a second, then when i put the ignition switch back on, ''WTH no spark?''
I guess the Honda ICM is made to be very precise of what voltage it wants on the pink wire, thats why i got a spark from it for a few secs.
So today I found that my diode under the ignition switch was broken too, I went to the electro shop, i got a similair diode but it still doesn't spark.
So next I am gonna try the diode you used too. I understand the headache you went though mate, Im having it now! :P

Im having same exact problem w my 2000 f4. i have replaced the ignition but ignition i had ordered the wire colors dont match to that of the bike wiring. i used a picture of a stock ignition to plug wires into harness. not even sure if they are in the right place? wire readings of the wires, two read 12v, other two are reading .01 and .02v. i have tried to switch up the two low reading wires but still not firing either way? i tested reading of pink wire at ecu and reads 11.8v. what do i need to do? oh and all electrical working fine, lights, blinkers, etc. fuel pump is priming when key is turned to on and pumping.
hey i was reading the forum because i have the same problem what i need to know if someone may answer is where does this Diode go on the cbr and if you can paste a picture to help .....
