whats goin on guys... just had a quick question on the yoshimura slip-on, or any slip on in this case... when installing these do you need to do any reprogramming or jetting??
didn't have to with my slip on yosh pipe.. I'm selling it cuz I got D&D full exhaust so I went ahead and bought a programmer for the full exhaust.. But my yosh pipe does shot flames every once in a while lol but it doesn't both me.
haha niice but yea i was just wondering on the site i was just looking at it said "usally" no reprogramming or jetting is required on the slip-ons... but geez i didnt think the slip-ons cost so much, but im sure it will be worth it once installed...
yosh pipes sound mean as heck but I wanted something load so I got the race pack d and d full exhaust.. what year is your bike ? I have my yoshimira rs-3 carbon fiber slip on I'll sell.
yeah .. they are worth every penny I think.. If I had stock exhaust and didn't want something as load as d & d i would diff recommend yoshimira pipes.. if you had the money I would diff go with yoshimira pipes .
new slip on means your bike is going to run different.
usually lean/rich mixtures are different and it must be tuned again... (not a major problem, unless you care about your performance on a large scale)
although id recommend getting it re tuned if you do and have the cash.
