WTB - F3 stock exhaust
Hello,
I just bought an 98 F3 and I would like to remove the current exhaust system and replace it with the large stock (although quiet is the key here) exhuast.
I know this should also be posted in WTB only, but I figured go straigt to the F3 source.
If any of you have that huge old black can lying around, and possbly the headers as well, that would be great. I know it's going to cost a fortune to send it, but if anyone is in the souther california area, I would like to pick it up, but otherwise will deal with the shipping costs. Silly ebay has them for like 60$, holy molie.
In addition, maybe someone here knows how to check the thermocouple for the temp sense. The temp gauge goes up to the red line when I get off the freeway and sit in traffic for a while. THe fan does not go on, so either. 1. the fans busted. (it spins and is wired up), or two the temp sense is bad. Any idea on how to trouble shoot that?
Other than that, and besides all the duct tape holding it together, it's good to go.
Thanks in advance for all the help.

the main fourm has a down load for the cbr's maunal. i have mine burned to cd and has come in handy, i dont hae the link here but should be a post at the top.
i had to replace my sensor as it wasn;t moving at all. but the fan comes on at mid way.
if is is bad it will not move, just a fyi. so if its geting high it is over heating. test the fan switch as that sounds like the the problem. if you can get on, use a infared thermo tester and see what the temp is out of the thermo, when it get mid way it should be at 160-180F the fan should come on at or around 170-200F mine kicks in at 180
