WOT hesitation/stall issue

I understand what you're trying to say brock but I've been friends with him for a long time, and im not friends with anyone I don't trust. I found this forum googling the issues I was having. What do you guys get for mileage? I got about 40 going easy on it, seems like it should be higher

40mpg is not bad at all.
I've had a little better but the rides were really boring and slow.

Im riding kinda boring and slow right now since its my first bike lol so I guess I was expecting a little more but it did have a little seafoam in the tank. Ill see what I get next time, thanks for the help guys

i just bought a 1990 cbr 1000 with a host of problems that ive handled except one it idles great, revs great,when i put in gear and ride starts out ok then when you throttle it no matter what gear it boggs down and dies eventually its running super rich i have taken the carbs off and cleaned them no diff. the mixture screws are at 2/1/2 turns does goin in lean it or make it richer?I DONT KNOW HOW TO ADJUST PROBLEM IVE HAD IT A MONTH AND CANT LEAVE THE NEIGHBORHOOD IM PLEADING FOR HELP

Scewing in the mixture screws in will lean the mixture. Try screwing them right in till they just seat and back them off 1/12 turns then go for a ride see what it's like. If you find it's not picking up to well when opening up the throttle try just giving it a little choke, if it suddenly improves then your still a little lean if it makes it worse then you might still be a little rich. Hope this makes sense....
