Default wiring question

I have a 95 F3 and on the back of the gauge cluster there are two connectors. One is a 12 way gray connector, and one is a6 way connector. I was wondering if anyone can tell me which connector has the signal wires in it for the odometer and trip meter? Everything else on my gauges works but it won't count the mileage. I have tried cleaning the cluster and reseting the trip meter and nothing works still. I was wondering which connector do I need to check?

Default RE: wiring question

if the speedometer won't read mph or mileage i would guess a bad speed sensor
SENSOR ASSY., SPEED
37700-MAL-601

but if the speedometer reads mph but not mileage then i would guess faulty gear or drive motor which means replacement of the speedometer assembly
SPEEDOMETER ASSY.
37200-MAL-671 if it turn out to be the speedometer itself then i would say search ebay or covert it to a f4i

as for the wires I'm not totally for sure but you can download this manual and it will walk you through testing it, http://downloads.hondatech.info/Moto...CBR600%20F.zip

I'm not for sure which chapter its in so you'll have to dig through them best of luck

Default RE: wiring question

yeah, if the speedo works but the odo and trip dont, then its a problem inside the cluster.

Keep us posted, if need me I just did the F4i swap and have a set of stock F3 gauges with 32,000ish miles on them.
