Just wondering because my F2 has them but my F3 does not. I had a set of push in bar ends I used on it but I thought it was wierd that my f2 has bolt in bar ends and my f3 has nothing. Normal?

 

F2 and F3 use the same OEM bar ends. If you're F3 is different, then it was changed at some point.

 

Must have been. Becuase there is nothing inside the bars for the bar ends to thread into like the F2 has.

 

There's a weight that goes into the bar. The bar end screws into the weight.

 

I must be missing that then. How do you get the weights in and out?

 

Only thing I can think of is you must have aftermarket handle bars, because they should defenatly be threaded for the bar ends.

 

You push and pull
If they haven't been out for a while, it's quite impossible to just pull them out,
so I made myself a tool from an old pipe (same diameter as the bar), a washer, nut and a long 6mm bolt.
Put nut, washer and pipe on bolt, screw bolt in weight. Turn the nut until it pulls the weight out of the bar.
It's gonna be interesting putting in new ones.

I don't think mine has any. I think I just looked in my throtle side but I will check the other side when I geta chance. The bike has been wrecked but I do not see why the weights would be removed.
