if you wanna do an easy wheelie without using the clutch, just get a smaller sprocket (go down two teeth). I did that to my F3 and I can simply do a wheelie in 1st gear with ease, it lifts up like I'm on a 1000.

How much top end are you concerned with losing? -1 +2 won't let you reach 140mph but it'll get you over 100mph, I believe.

That's the equivalent of +4.5 in the rear which will be noticeable. try that out! you should be able to fit that combo with a stock chain, stretched or not.

-1+2 will that require a new chain? If so what kind and where to get?

Not if your current chain is stretched from use. If it's too close to new, you might not fit this combo.
I have +2 in the rear on a stretched (worn) 108 link stock 530.

-1 +2 will throw your speedometer and odometer off by quite a bit, without a speedo-healer (eBay)

The best idea would be to work on your technique FIRST, before you change anything. Use the clutch to get her up e v e r y t i m e. its more consistent. Learn the BP. The sooner you reach the balace point, the better IMO. And COVER THE REAR BRAKE in case you go back too far. After you have your BP and throttle control down pat, then **** with gearing etc :-)

BTW I only weight 130-135 @ 6'

-1/+2 will turn that bike into a total new bike, when i had my 98 i was doing stand up wheelies in 3rd gear and i weighed about 230

i'd say just go down one in the front, or up 2-3 in the back..
