Started with metzler m1s ended up lowsiding. So I wanted max grip with some life so went to pirelli diablo rosso, Insane grip even when slightly stepped out. But turn in is a bit sluggish. 1000 miles later I already needed a new rear and the front followed shortly. I ran these a couple of times but cant afford to buy 10 sets of tires a year. Now im on the michelin power pure and so far love the tire, not sure on longevity yet but so far they have great grip, and a set weighs 2 lbs less than a comparable set. And after running the rossos the turn in of the pures is much easier. My father has a set of 2cts and loves them. In my experience they work very well, feel very neutral and have pretty good traction with a good life span. For me I want max traction for our winding mountain roads and the power pures have a good bit more of the softer compound on the front and rear compared to the 2cts. But depending on how you ride will determine what type of tire you will need. There are some great reviews at motorcyclesuperstore.com

Had a Michelin Pilot Power on the front. I loved that tire it preformed great, but it wore quickly. Now I have Michelin Road Pilot on the front. I have slid the front tire a few times, this never happened with the pilot power. The Road Pilot has lasted alot longer but I am not as confident cornering with it. More grip=Faster Wear...I love riding hard, I hate buying tires every 3000 miles.

I dont know what Road 3s are but I am looking at Pilot Road 2s to order within the next week here, They are supposed to be like Pilot roads (harder) in the center and like pilot powers(softer) on the edges
I have read that they can handle any corners outside of the track or canyons just fine, and last over 10000 miles in some cases. Not sure what kind of riding you do but if you dont do track or twisties might wanna check them out
Also supposed to have really good handling in wet conditions
