What milage are F3's good for?

Bought my junker at 32k.
She's been dropped several times, but surprisingly the owner seemed to take good care of the internals.
Forks bent, front wheel bent, engine covers scratched, no fairings, etc, etc.
BUT the fluids appeared to be changed regularly.
~$2000 later and absolutely no engine work (just meticulous maintenance), the bike has been a sheer joy to own for the past year and half.
Several cross state road trips and 9k miles later, she still runs like a TOP.
I intend to ride her for one more cycle of insurance (one year) before I sell her and upgrade to a 929rr.
Bottom line, if the bike has been taken care of, it will take care of you. I've heard stories of people putting well over 100k on these 600cc engines before a top end rebuild was needed AS LONG as you take good care of it.

I hear you on that and your kitchen counter sounds like it looks like mine. I always tell people I'm a REALLY good amateur.
