I guess it was just another part I had to buy, but $25 isn't the most expensive part out there. Speaking of the solenoid removal thread, I can't find it with the search because it omits anything shorter than 4 letters. If I can get away without it, that would be $25 more that I could spend on tires lol

Dirt that would make a great sticky IMO, so many people have the same problem with the air on these F3's..

Thanks for the info Joe. It seems pretty straight forward, I just need to get a switch and she'll be running like a champ! I figured I might as well add a pic, so here's what I have done so far. Name: P1010646.jpg

Joe - deleting the solenoid just removes the switch at 12mph though doesn't it? would there be a hit in performance if i wanted to run pods on the ITBs?

well it does just remove the switch, but then you can remove all the left over hose's too, and delete all the under 12mph stuff, You end up with all air coming straight from the ram air ducts. It works really well.

the air pressure into the carbs is very picky to be able to run correctly, I'm not sure it would work the way you want to hook it up. my only advice is to try it and see what you end up with. But I'd bout 90% say that it wouldn't work well that way. just by what I have tried on mine. I once just had the three back screws come out on my air box and it open slightly and the bike wouldn't run worth crap, I couldn't even get it over 45mph. just that much of a difference in airflow can make a huge difference in performance
