What does a CBR need to run?
Hi guys,
I am in the middle of dropping a CBR600 F3 engine into a 2000 Gold racing kart. I got the engine with the radiator, the fan, the starter, all of the connected sensors, the wiring harness and the CDI box. My question is: What are the bare essentials that need to be attached to the wiring harness for the engine to be able to run? I will probably end up buying a gauge cluster for the tach and coolant temp gauges anyways.
Any and all help is appreciated.
Thanks
Cal

Sorry to resurrect, but I just got the kart chassis back and I refocused on the engine. How would I delete the kill switch? I see that there are three wires running from the connector that it plugs into. Coming from dirt bikes that have two leads to the kill switch, this is just a little bit over my head.
Any help appreciated,

Difficult to delete the kill switch, it's part of the ignition circuit and the starter circuit goes through it too, why noy mount it somewhere? It's a nice safety feature. You need the airbox and a fuel pump for the f3 to run right. Look at the aftermarket fuel pump thread, and the ram air solenoid removal. Don't change or drill holes in the airbox, it'll run like crap
