Default Vent tubes

So lately i've been having some problems with my 98 cbr. It sometimes leaks fuel when runnning, out of somewhere, i cant tell exactly. And when i used to ride it the engine woul sputter/bog down under hard acceleration no matter which gear i was in... I've been told that my vent tubes might be cloggged but i do not know where these are located. Could you guys guide me in the right direction (maybe a diagram or pic?) Thanks.

Could be the fuel flow is restricted. Could cause all of the above. But you're talking about a lot of tubes here.

Easiest start would be to start at the gas tank, follow anything rubber from it, disconnect them one at a time and blow compressed air through it. Check the fuel filter too. Also a little history behind your bike would be helpful.

So i took the tank off, and blew compressed air through the two hoses which are in the rear of the tank. I also inspected the spark plugs which are ok and I replaced the fuel filter. Bike still has the same issue under hard acceleration. The bike had sat for a while outdoors, should i dive right in and take the carbs apart to clean them???

You can try Seafoam before carb cleaning. If it improves then you can decide whether to go with Seafoam or do a thorough carb cleaning.

But it could also be a lack of air. Another thing to try before cleaning the carbs is take the air filter off. See if it runs any better.

Btw when I suggested the compressed air I meant the fuel lines from the tank -> fuel filter -> petcock -> carbs.
