Default Valve stem question

Went to put some air in the rear tire and the valve stem came apart. Im wondering what type of valves these bikes have. I cant tell from the schematics if it is the screw type or the press fit type. And if it is the press type do any of you know if I can install and remove them without a valve stem removal tool. Thanks.

I've only seen the screw in type on the bikes. I've replaced my rubber valve stems with metal ones. They don't need to be replaced every time you get new tires and they look good.

The stems are similar to cars, but just a bit shorter. I recommend the metal stems too just to prevent things such as what happened to you. The stems crack and fail if not replaced.

Thanks for the info. Took the wheel to the shop today and the mechanic recognized it (guess there arent to many yellow wheels that come though) and put in a new stem for just the price of the stem! got to love a good local shop, props Precision Cycle Sylva NC
