Valve Cleaning Question
Hey guy First post here , I just bought my first bike its a 96 f3 paid 500$ for it. Since the bike has fairly high mileage on it i figure id take off the carbs and begin cleaning . When i took the carbs off i noticed the valves are pretty gunked up. i was just wondering what some of you have done to clean your valves without taking off the head ?

Star brite - Catalog - Product Detail
this stuff works great, cap full after you fill up and youre good to go.

Thanks Sjona , will definitely check that out
But for now im looking more specifically how to clean the intake valves while the carbs are already off Example - cranking motor so valves close in cylinder and cleaning them then removing whats in the intake valve chamber , that way nothing breaks down and passes through the cylinders. Looking for some insight on best possible way to do this and if someone else has done it and what their results were, and if its even recommended to do so
