uncommon problem...oil spilling

i never turn off my petcock. If fuel is leaking into the oil you more than likely have a stuck float that is let fuel into the cylinder, and its creeping past the rings into the oil. Go get a bottle of SeaFoam fuel treatment and pour like half the bottle into a fuel tank of gas. Ride the tank till its just about empty. There's a good chance the SeaFoam will free up the float and do a good cleaning of the carbs anyway.

hell yea, where can i get some sea foam, an automotive store? I know a float has to be sticking for that to happen, i just figured it it would free up because i put the first couple hundred miles on this bike in 6 years. i will pick a bottle of that stuff up tomorrow
