Two weeks later and still can't ride, but progress is made.
Since I got stuck on the highway and tried jumping my bike with the car, but my mistake was I had the car running. But, with that said, I fried the CDI and the clutch diode.
Got the parts and installed them and now the bike starts and I am able to ride, but I notice the Speedo, RPM meter andfront turn signalsare not working and the bike hesitate in all gears except first when accelerating. Checked and replaced all fuses, still a no go.
The manaul don't give that much information on the RPM's and only tells you how to test the speed sensor. Does the speed sensor work the RPM's and the Speedo?
Any help would be appreciated,
Thanks

I would start with the speedo sensor. There is an air valve just behind the airbox which works off of how fast you go. Once you're over 12 or 15 MPH (somewhere in there), it switches over between low speed intake and high speed intake. If it isn't switching from low to high speed intake correctly, then you'll have poor performance at high speeds.
