Default two totally different issues...

so ive got a 2nd helmet for a few lady friends i like to take for a ride here and there....only issue i run into is transporting the helmet without it on their head....any pointers? things to buy?

also, ive noticed almost like a clanking noise coming from the front end area during upshifting/acceleration. the bike handles fine, goes fine, starts fine, stops fine. but the noise is a little concern. is it just because its an older bike with over 20k miles?

Get a cargo net large enough to fit the helmet in it?

Is the noise an engine noise? Front wheel noise? Exhaust noise? The most stress in the bikes engine is when accelerating so that would be when all these stress and breaking noises come out.

Well I think they have some net thingys you can buy that mount on the back of the bike and hold the helmet in place. I've seen them around. Check Ebay.

As for the sound, it sounds to me like the main bearing in the steering shaft area. I hear something similiar to that if I brake real hard at slow speeds.

Ya those cargo nets work great!...i have one for my passenger helmet. I got it from our local Bike Store/Dealer.

...as far as the noise hmmmm...im not sure why it would be clanking only during acceleration......does it not make any noise while cruising at a constant speed?
