Default trouble with the front brakes, bleeding procedure anyone?

Well I've just put braided lines on my front brakes and im having trouble getting pressure in the system. currently what i was doing was; i would depress the lever with the bleeder screw open on one of the brakes until fluid came out, turn bleeder screw back in then letgo of lever repeat on other side but no matter how much fluid i get to come out of the bleeders screws i cant seem to get pressure on the system. what am i doing wrong?

You need to prime the master cylinder mate.
Do the following:
1. Undo the banjo bolt on the master cylinder and remove the brake line from it.
2. Put some brake fluid into master cylinder.
3. Pull brake lever all the way in.
4. Put your finger on the banjo bold hole and keep the hole tightly closed.
5. Release brake lever.
6. Repeat all the above untill brake fluid starts to come out when you press on the brake lever - then you master cylinder is primed.
7. Attach brake lines with the banjo bolt onto the master cylinder.
8. Bleed the system( few pump action pulls on the brake lever, then keep it pressed in and then open bleed nipple on one of the calipers while still applying pressure on the brake lever).
9. Repeat step 8 for both calipers.

You can bleed both calipers 2 or 3 times one after another to get rid of all the air.

Let us know how you get on.
