So I ride the 10 miles to walmart today. Go in and do my thing and when I come back out my bike keeps turning over and turning over but not wanting to start. It has a HUGE backfire and some lady ducked in the parking lot. I'm not gonna lie, I laughed at her and started my bike. So I rode off thankful I got my bike started. I made it about a mile or 2 down the road and the damn thing dies at a busy stop sign. I got it restarted and everytime I went to let the clutch out it killed it like it was out of gas (which it wasn't and the fuel line wasnt' shut off). Anyways I call my boss and see if he will get a trailer and come and get me. He said that sucks for you, and "I'm sorry but I can't." Well nobody could come and get me except my wife who drives a Passat (can't fit the bike in it) and I reluctantly call the dealership to come and get my bike. THEY BRING A FREAKING TOW TRUCK!!! So they tow my bike back to the dealership and tell me it's $48 to look at your bike and we will go from there but it will be a week before we can look at it. GRRRRRR So now I'm doing this -->

 

sounds like the tail fairing isnt your biggest problem anymore

I had to push my bike about a mile before to get to a gas station from a freeway. Worst thing ever. My legs were aburnin!

I had mine do the same thing with the backfire at a gas station and so many people jumped or ducked. Great comedy. lol

Wow a week? We are so slow now you could have waited on it unless parts had to be ordered.
Was it making any abnormal noises? Kinda sounds like a cam chain problem I had on one of my previous F2s. Dont wasnt to speculate just yet though. More info please.

 

I had that problem turned out to be the rectifier, also adjust the idle control on the side, see if that will help.

 

sounds like the infamous f3 problem, r/r or fuel pump....check them out...one or both will probably be shot
