so the forcast for tomorrow is sunny and 50 degrees. WOOHOO. getting the bike out. anyway, i went up to the gas station to fill it up and make sure everything was in proper riding order. while filling up, i noticed some punk teenager staring at my bike while pumping gas. i went in and payed then came out and he was standing next to my bike. i nodded and said hey whats up. he didn't even look up. he just started rambling about how his "race built" car could outrun me to 100 mph. i laughed and reached for my helmet. he then told me to f**k off and walked over to his beast of a car. thats when i noticed the sweetest machine ive ever seen. there sat this 1980-something part green, part blue all rusted escourt. words cannot describe this thing. dented to hell and a busted out back window. the monster exhaust tip and all the nos stickers were worth more than the car. he started it up, revved it up, and dumped the clutch. no wheel spin. just a lunge forward and the thing died. and then it wouldn't restart. by this time i was rolling. i hollered and asked if he needed help but he just flipped me off and kept cranking away. it finally started and off he went. it was honestly one of the funniest things that ive seen in a long time!

 

I would say race him for pinks... but you'd still come out loosing if you won. You know, you'd have to pay someone to tow it off the road for you.

I wonder if that guy knew you had about 30HP's on him... the escort had anywhere from 1.2 to 1.9 liter engines.... at best in their GT line up, they still only made 110HP. FActor in the weight and the stupidity of the driver... I'd give him a handicap of about a mile in a quarter mile drag.

 

hey nine... hilarious story! hope you were able to get the bike out today. it'll be about 58 here in SO IL... crazy awesome! the other day i come out from a restaurant and this butch chick was standing by my bike. i walked up and was like "hey". she looks at me and said "if i had my bike i'd race you and kill you". i was a little shocked but oh well... and replied with "what do you ride?". she goes "i got a harley!" i kinda chuckled and smiled and said "should be a good race"... lol... some people!!!!

 

Wow what a waterhead that guy was, i bet he gets all the chix with the machine, fat and smelly ones that is...lucky guy!

LOL.....watch out for the sleepers...One would think the exotic sports cars shouldn't be worth all that much if an Escort can beat it....BWHAHAHA....got to love those punks...I once had a couple of 13 year olds come up to me swearing that as soon as they could drive they'd be getting busas....I was like take a listen to my advice....YOU BUY A BUSA FOR A FIRST BIKE, YOU WILL NO LONGER BE ABLE TO RIDE! Stupid stupid....lol..

Great story got a good laugh from it. I have a acura all body kitted up and some of the dumb asses I have to sit next to at a red light make me laugh.

Awesome story!! I love it when i'm out with the wife and kids, and one of those idiots with red tint, big a$$ exhaust cans, and black spare wheels on the front for their "drag tires" pulls up and revs up at my 4 wheel drive f150. I always get excited when I hear that massive horsepower roaring out of the beast.
