I didn't really prepare myself for putting a write up together when I started this, but I managed to get it all done with little work.

For anyone considering this refer to the wiring comparison Conrice included in this thread, it worked flawlessly. (thanks a ton by the way!!)

The way my wiring harness is tucked I didn't have a ton of space to work with. The wires coming from the rr switch were approx a foot shorter than the f3's and the connection was different. Due to my lack of patience and access to getting these type of replacement plugs I chose to take a tricky route. I cut the connections from the f3 switch on the "handlebar" side keeping the oem harness plug attached, connected and soldered the corresponding f3 to rr wires and heat shrink wrapped them. Tucked the wires just as they were before and the mated connection is beautifully hidden. The switches work great and look SOOOOO much better than stock.

The throttle housing was a quick and easy swap as well, the original cables go right in, no fuss.

Anyone who may need help, feel free to ask. I got both parts used in eBay for less than 40$ in great shape.

Thanks. I think it will look much better with the "cup" type m/c, but for now it will do.

Yeah, but you can swap that out whenever and if you have a vacuum or reverse bleeder, it won't even take you an hour to do it.
