tail conversion question

tail conversion question
Ive been looking into this. Ive heard the term "molding" the old tail to a new one. So is that you dont have to make brackets for mounting? I know you still have to make a seat bracket of some sort. Im new to DIY mods so I would appreciate all the help i can get.
